I found the cutest little vintage diecut on clearance and knew immediately that I had to make a card out of it. In addition to red, white, & blue, the image has many other colors (i.e brown, orange, pink, & green) so the sky's the limit in terms of color schemes. I chose to go with red, white, and blue accented with a hint of sunburst yellow.
Materials:
- Card - standard white textured cardstock (Michael's)
- Blue glitter paper - "Best Occasions" glitter pack paper (Walmart)
- "Kassie's Brocade" embossing folder (Cuttlebug)
- Chipboard Love - "Best Occasions" chipboard pack (Walmart)
- Martha Stewart deep border punch (Michael's)
- Flowers, pearl accents, & ribbon (Michael's $1.50 section)
- Vintage diecut - discontinued clearance item at local discount store
Here's a peek at the inside....
Tip of the Day: For a little visual interest, use several different embossing folder patterns on your card...trust me, variety is definitely the spice of life!
